Welcome to Deep Listening To Nature
Hello and welcome.
I've cherished a love of Nature my entire life, a passion that was nurtured by my parents. Growing up alongside the D’Aguilar National Park in Brisbane, wandering barefoot alongside creeks and constantly exploring National Parks with family and friends, has connected me intimately with some of the world’s oldest forests.
My approach to walking in the bush in a reverent manner stems from years of attuning closely to nature's wisdom. When I first heard the voice of Nature speaking directly to me, my life moved in a profound direction leading me to learn from the original people of the area of the Central Desert of Australia, where Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Artila stand. These generous and loving people are called the Anangu.
Listening to the voice of Nature and sharing this skill with others was refined under the guidance of the late Anangu elder Uncle Bob Randall.
My work today at Uluru as a private guide, certified to interpret the natural and culture values of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, supports visitors to learn about one of the world’s oldest living cultures. A great responsibility I am very proud of.
Learning from Uncle Bob and other remarkable Indigenous leaders from Australia, South and North America, sparked the inspiration to pen my book ‘Climbing the World’s Tallest Tree’.
I've guided both individuals and groups on unique retreats into the rain forests of the east coast, through urban parkland, and out in the semi-arid desert bush lands of the Northern Territory of Australia for the past seven years. With 27 years of experience in the healing arts and 19 years facilitating women's sharing circles, I bring a background steeped in supporting others to find balance, peace, health and happiness.
