Welcome to Deep Listening To Nature
Hello and welcome.
My name is Iris, and I've cherished a profound love for nature throughout my life. Growing up near the D’Aguilar National Park in Brisbane, wandering barefoot, and exploring various National Parks for over 48 years has connected me deeply with some of the world’s oldest forests.
My approach to walking in the bush stems from a sacred and reverent perspective, born out of my desire to attune myself more closely to nature's wisdom. The moment nature's voice spoke to me, it was transformative, altering the course of my life in a profound way.
My ability to listen to nature's language and teach this skill to others was refined under the guidance of the late Yankunytjatjara elder, Uncle Bob Randall, from Uluru/Central Desert of Australia. Meeting Uncle Bob and other remarkable indigenous individuals from Australia, South and North America sparked the inspiration to pen ‘Climbing the World’s Tallest Tree’. These encounters led to profound insights gained through Deep Listening To Nature (DLTN). Since 2015, I've fervently guided both individuals and groups in nature.
With over 25 years of experience in the healing arts and 18 years facilitating women's sharing circles, I bring a background steeped in supporting others' well-being. My aspiration is to connect with you, engaging in deep listening to the extraordinary wisdom nature offers. It would be an honour.
‘Gurumah’, Respect,
Iris Ray Nunn
